The Newfoundland and
Labrador Provincial Perinatal Program (NLPPP) collects, summarizes,
interprets and reports on perinatal events, outcomes, and care
processes at the provincial, regional and community level. This
information is used for surveillance activities, for maternal /
infant health program and policy development, and to facilitate and
support research and quality assurance initiatives in perinatology
and developmental outcomes.
The Perinatal Database
is an excellent resource for decision makers and researchers. The
records that are collected are listed
here.
